MeduProf-S (Sustainable Multidisciplinary Education for Professionals) is an independent Education Company providing high quality, professionally presented, custom designed training, coaching and courses.
MeduProf-S, previously known as Fontys International Health Projects, a department within Fontys University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands, was launched in May 2009. In February 2011 MeduProf-S has also taken over the Fontys International Projects business unit and activities.
The first course initiated was in 1996 when ultrasound courses were developed for emerging countries. Following a successful pilot project in Kenya, courses in medical professions were implemented countrywide in Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, China, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Mozambique and in the Caribbean on a sustainable basis with extensive involvement of local expertise and resources. In most countries the courses are part of a package which also includes curriculum development, teacher training and e-learning.
MeduProf-S continues to be “empowered by Fontys University of Applied Sciences” and is committed to developing training programs that fulfil the needs of our customers. To enable us to provide an ever-increasing expertise, we have built up a close relationship with other universities both locally and internationally. The capacity of the team of MeduProf-S also continues to expand enabling us to offer a wider variety in choice of programs.
We are proud to promote the excellent working relationships we have established with our partners, universities and the industry both in The Netherlands and abroad. Our efficient, effective and experienced project management team comes from a variety of international working experience and has extensive experience in diverse cultural situations therefore assuring the successful transfer of training and educational knowledge.
We take pride in concentrating and investing our time and efforts toward customising our services and furnishing our clients’ projects with the most appropriate staff and courses as well as providing the most satisfactory and cost-effective solutions for each individual assignment.
An efficient, effective and experienced international project management team with a strong emphasis on the different regional and national situations guarantees the successful transfer of educational and training knowledge.
Excellent working relationships with partners in beneficiary countries have been established as we have proven our efficiency and reliability.
Since 2007 the capacity of the expert staff of MeduProf-S has increased considerably enabling us to offer a wider variety of education related activities. This expansion allows MeduProf-S to provide customised, tailor-made programs to suit the specific needs of our customers.
After taking over Fontys International Projects in February 2011, MeduProf-S launched besides Healthcare the following new business lines; Marketing/Management, Engineering/IT, Education/Teacher Training and Quality Assurance.
In October 2011 the Dutch company “Zorg met Visie” also became part of MeduProf-S. This part of the company will explore the market of Hygiene Safety and Food Safety markets as well as international as national.

MeduProf-S is proud being registered in the central register for short professional education (CRBKO), member of the Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA from the WHO) and accredited member of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certification services.
In January 2012 the Quality Management System of MeduProf-S was awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
Our office is located in a building from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (S2) at the Technical University Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
