Mission of MeduProf-S
Our mission
MeduProf-S is dedicated to Sustainable Multidisciplinary Education and Training of Professionals in Emerging Countries and Countries in Transition.
The separate parts of the mission have been defined:
Sustainable: Able to be maintained and maintaining balance between People, Planet and Profit.
Multidisciplinary: Involving a range of disciplines or subjects.
Education: The imparting and acquiring of knowledge through teaching and learning, especially at a school or similar institution.
Training: Acquiring a skill – the process of teaching or learning a skill or job
Professionals: Workers in a paid occupation, that usually requires a high degree of training and skills.
Emerging Countries: Countries, with social or business activities, in the process of rapid growth and industrialization.
Countries in Transition: Countries in a change process from a centrally planned economy to a free market.
The name MeduProf-S is in fact an acronym of the mission. The mission in that sense is supported by the MeduProf-S house style.
The vision of MeduProf-S is;
- to strive to be the leading social entrepreneur to support the quality improvement of education in Emerging Countries and Countries in Transition. We believe in the potential of these countries and operate from the vision that education is a basic condition for the independence and economic development of a society. We are committed to the establishment of learning communities.
